I was talking to my friend TK yesterday at home group and she said"you should put that on your blog". Really? I asked incredulously?...you think so?
"Yes", she replied, "that's exactly the kind of thing that goes on a blog".
Okay, here goes.

My husband is putting up a shed in our back yard. At the same time, I am re-potting a Rhoddodenderan (sp?) into a humungous pot. As usual, I am doing this in the most awkward, messy way possible (what fun would it be if I was co-ordinated and clean?). I said out loud in the general direction of my H, that I needed a big strong man to come help me lift the pot out of the wagon into the spot of choice. - I may be un c0-ordinated, but I'm not stupid!-
He said "I guess you should go get one then".
Well....."don't tempt me" I said. I could you know. I'm still reasonably cute and generally nice [when my kids aren't driving me crazy].

At this point in the story, H chimes in and says that he didn't really mean THAT, exactly, but was trying to get out of helping me. To which I relplied...."Like, all the times you ask me to help you I'm not doing anything?....You think I just sit around picking my nose all day waiting for you to come and ask me to help you????"
He didn't laugh, but TK did....and so did the rest of the guys at home group.

So, I guess that's about it. How do you close a blog anyway? Is there a proper one?

Company has come and gone and now i'm catching up on all the laundry.....easier said than done.
My "new" washing machine has decided to be tempermental....which makes ME mental.

It is slowly getting done, cuz I jimmied it.....regardless, our landlord got a phone message from a laundry desperate mommy.

Okay, so now I have two posts in one day.
I have been suffering from bloggers block as I am new at this. I guess I just need to start typing the stuff in my head on a regular basis.
Don't worry, if it gets scary, you can read with your eyes closed. :)

I guess posting on a blog is slightly more productive than playing online games and decidedly LESS productive than cleaning my house. Personally, I'd rather do almost anything else than clean my house. This is a bad thing for M as he is a clean freak and has chosen to live in this house with me. Sigh.

On that note, I have been a sporadic member of www.flylady.net for 3 years now. When I am following her "system" I do have a cleaner house..........but therin lies the rub. I need to actually stick to something. Guess I can't be to hard on G for being a space-cadett, when I can't stick to something for longer than 2 secs.
I could try and convince myself that it's ADD, but I think it's just plain old lazy. That and too much coffee.

NOW, I need to go and clean my bathroon.
If anyone actually reads this (tk) , hope it was entertaining.

Ahhhh............allergy season.
Have been having trouble with the runny nose, cough, watery eyes etc.
It's driving me crazy. I am trying to "de-clutter" the house - to get rid of dust and find a new home for our cat.

Haven't been on any exciting outings recently. Life has been full with school, daycare and M being away hasn't helped.

We are contemplating the school to send G to in the fall. Looking at our options and seriously considering www.pacificacademy.net. We have friends that send their children there and it really looks great.

Am expecting company this weekend. Should be fun.

Went to the Reifel Bird Sanctuary on Westham Island with k's.......it is so amazingly beautiful and peaceful, even with 5 k's in tow. :)
They had so much fun feeding the ducks and looking at the different ponds & birds. Saw so many that I didn't know the names for. Must go again and bring a bird watching book.
